“Hi, I’m Alia, here to help you discover new ways to live better with Psoriatic Arthritis. What can I help you with today?”

Meet Alia – our new Facebook messenger Chatbot and your new go-to girl for tips and info when a flare-up kicks in, or if you just fancy a chat about your PsA. And if you’re just having a rubbish day, Alia will always try to cheer you up with a cheerful joke or GIF (because who doesn’t love a GIF!).

You know better than anyone that living with a chronic disease is a daily challenge, and the fear of symptoms striking at any time is all too real and can often seem overwhelming. That’s why it’s so important to have resources on hand for instant information and guidance, because sadly you can’t always control a flare-up’s timing. You could be about to leave the house, at work or spending time with friends and family. One of the worst things about chronic disease is how helpless it can make you feel – but not anymore… Alia to the rescue! She’s there 24/7, 365 days a year, for whenever you have a quick question, or want an informed chat about what to do next. She’ll always do her best to help and if she doesn’t know the answer she’ll be sure to point you in the right direction, steering you through all of the resources, information, and articles that Ask Alia has to offer.

You may have noticed that Chatbots are very popular right now – but how much do you know about them? Chatbots are clever little programs that use artificial intelligence to mimic conversations. They’re an on-demand tech to make your life easier and provide you with information you need, whenever you need it. You might think Google can also do this…true, it can. But Chatbots are programmed with their own personality making your quest for information that little bit more interesting :).

So whatever your query, whenever the need arises, Alia is your girl. Your go-to friend, who’ll reply straight away to help whatever kind of a day you might be happening. What’s more, we’ll be making updates to Alia over time to make sure that she keeps getting better and better.
